My tumblr accounts are safe, don’t worry. I won’t delete anything but I still believe strongly of the necessity of a second option. It’s not only relative to the new Tumblr policies, still it’s but is not the only motive. There are certain movements in some accounts that I follow here and I don’t like what I see (looks like bots are taking control of old, not updated accounts, I’m not sure).
I believe is a good thing start something new. In fact I was feeling tired about some regular content in Tumblr this weeks (I’m not following, since a bit ago, accounts who has abundance in fashion or fashion icons, specially if their content has a lot of anorexic/sick girls, it’s depressing to me). Is not going to be easy, Pillowfort is a baby, needs feed, time and lots of patience but since the site is not a product of a big company, it’s a crowdfunding project similar to Ao3, I think is interesting and fantastic to support something who aspires to be good for the content in Internet.
Sadly my pillowfort account is not going to be curated like my many tumblr accounts. It will be messy, just like me, but maybe that is a good thing too?
I’m not sure who of you already have an account outside tumblr but send me a link guys!
